Highlights and Reflections from 2024
As we look back on 2024, we’re filled with joy at the range of interesting projects we’ve had the opportunity to work on with clients and design professionals, transforming homes and elevating how people cook, entertain, and enjoy their living spaces.
With a focus on premium indoor and outdoor kitchens and storage solutions, we’ve worked with leading brands to deliver exquisite, functional, and inspiring designs from our Chiswick showroom HQ. Outside of the day job, we’ve hosted events and collaborated with peers to push the kitchen industry towards better design and practices.
Here are some of the standout moments from the year:
1. Launching Urban Bonfire in the UK
This year marked a significant milestone as we introduced Urban Bonfire to the UK market. To celebrate, we hosted a panel discussion in July titled “The Art of Outdoor Living: Designing Outdoor Kitchens.”
Our Director, Sinead Turnbull, was joined by Ryan Bloom from Urban Bonfire and Claudia Bannatyne from Cosentino for an engaging discussion about emerging trends in outdoor living. Together, they explored how outdoor kitchens are evolving from simple utilities into luxurious, cohesive “rooms” that reflect modern lifestyle aspirations and cutting-edge design principles.
We were thrilled to welcome guests to our West London showroom for the event, chaired by writer and design journalist Lindsay Blair and beautifully catered for by our Fired Up team, who BBQ’d up a storm! Watch the discussion on YouTube here.
2. Exploring Innovation with Leading Brands
A highlight for our team was visiting the CUBIC OUTDOOR LIVING and pronorm headquarters, two of the German-engineered kitchen brands we proudly represent. These brands are synonymous with quality and innovation, and it was inspiring to see their latest ranges and technologies firsthand.
The focus on sustainability, cutting-edge materials, and sleek design solutions left us excited for the future of kitchen design. These partnerships continue to elevate our offerings, bringing unmatched quality and craftsmanship to our clients’ homes.
3. A New Digital Experience
In 2024, we focused on enhancing our clients’ online experience by launching two brand-new websites. With a spotlight on Alfresco Kitchens and Pronorm Kitchen Design, the new sites provide a more intuitive and visually engaging way for clients to explore our services and capabilities.
To mark this milestone, we celebrated The Design Centre with a dedicated styling and photography day at our Chiswick showroom. Allowing us to truly showcase the elegance and functionality that define Home Living Group’s offerings.
4. Celebrating Our Incredible Team
We owe so much of our success to our dedicated team. Their hard work, passion for excellent design, and commitment to uplifting our clients’ lives have shone through in every project. We’re particularly proud of the wonderful feedback we’ve received, including glowing Google reviews that speak to their talent and care. 5. Plans Afoot for an Exciting 2025
With the New Year fast approaching, we’re excited to announce some big plans:
● New Displays and Product Ranges: We’ll be unveiling stunning new kitchen designs at The Design Centre that continue to push the boundaries of innovation and style. Including bedroom storage ranges that demonstrate pronorm’s versatility in designing exceptional furniture across all areas of the home.
● A New Home for Fired Up: Our Fired Up BBQ specialist brand will be moving into a new space, giving clients an even better way to explore our outdoor cookware, appliances, kitchens and more!
